Matt Hancock, Jill Scott and Sue Cleaver will be seen having a taste of the high life when they swap the I’m A Celebrity jungle for an indulgent beach BBQ.
The trio were pictured landing on the Gold Coast in a helicopter before being swiftly taken to an idyllic spot on a sandy beach just metres away from the rolling waves of the azure blue sea.
In the snaps, the campmates are seen tucking into a slap-up BBQ and sipping on fruity drinks, which must be a nice change from the animal organs they have been sampling for the Bushtucker trials.
The picture-perfect meal was the prize for the Scareground task, the events of which will air on Thursday’s instalment of the juggernaut reality series.
Jill, along with Mike Tindall and Owen Warner, put themselves forward for the task, which will see them strapped into spinning devices as they attempt to work together to amass stars.
In a preview of the episode, the former England footballer releases colourful balls from a tombola-shaped cage full of insects, while Mike collects the balls and throws them at Warner, who is being repeatedly turned upside down over a trough of water.
As his head is submerged again and again, he shouts: ‘There’s no need for this.’
Co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly urge him to hurry up, laughing and responding: ‘Owen, get looking for balls.’
Grabbing balls from the water, the Hollyoaks actor throws them into a box, contributing towards the final score, as sinister fairground music plays and the other campmates look on from a makeshift stand.
Each colour corresponds to a different campmate and at the end of the challenge the three celebrities with the most balls will be treated to a surf ‘n’ turf barbecue.
Judging by the pictures, Hancock, Jill and Sue are the lucky ones.
It comes after Hancock’s partner and former aide Gina Coladangelo arrived in Australia.
In June last year, the MP resigned as health secretary after he was caught breaking coronavirus social distancing rules by having an affair in his ministerial office with Coladangelo, who was working with him at the time.
Coladangelo was spotted at Heathrow Airport on Wednesday before her long flight to Brisbane.
The mother-of-three was pictured but remained ‘tight-lipped.’
An insider added to Mail Online: ‘She smiled when asked if she was looking forward to flying to Australia and seeing Matt again.’
They continued: ‘Walking through departures, she looked nothing but relaxed ahead of the long trip to Australia, where she will finally be reunited with Matt.
I’m A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
