Fresh off the back of putting Salomon’s XT-6 to the test in the great countryside, Cumbria-based store Working Class Heroes returns this season with a two-piece capsule alongside mountaineering brand Rab.
Founded by Rab Carrington in the 1970s, the eponymous outdoors label is regarded as one of the most functional British brands in history, and has been at the heart of the country’s mountaineering scene for over fifty years.
Now the label has had two of its epochal garments reworked by Working Class Heroes for a two-piece Fall/Winter 2021 collaboration comprising both outerwear and headwear.
First up is a black Firewall Jacket that’s been treated with a Pertex Shield 3L shell, meaning its full waterproof, breathable and protective. Housing zippered hand warmer pockets and a zippered chest compartment, the jacket is rounded out with a drawcord at the hem and a helmet-compatible hood.
A collaborative Fisherman Pike Beanie crafted with Donegal Merino yarn rounds things out, which is completed with a collaborative logo patch on its rolled cuff.
The Working Class Heroes x Rab collection is available to buy now from the former’s online webstore.
In other fashion news, Drôle de Monsieur has experimented with French nostalgia for its FW21 campaign.
