Y-3 has reimagined its RUNNER 4D IO in “Triple Black.” Originally debuted last October, the shoe bears a sleek mold packed with a bevy of technical materials for a futuristic design.
Compared to the silhouette’s previous transparent design, this iteration features an outer layer that conceals most of the shoe’s uppers. Beneath the shoe’s technical mesh shell is a removable Primeknit sock that offers added comfort and support. A bold white “Y-3” logo is stamped along the shoe’s sidewalls, while “Yohji Yamamoto” branding is placed along the tongue. Rounding up the shoe’s design is a large heel cup and a tonal 4D midsole that’s mostly covered up by the shoe’s outer mesh layer.
Y-3’s RUNNER 4D IO “Triple Black” is currently available on HBX’s website for $603 USD.
