Adele's love for Beyoncé knows no bounds.
On August 1, Adele—a long time Beyoncé superfan—took to Instagram to show appreciation for Queen Bey's latest project, Black Is King (available now on Disney+). Wearing her hair in gorgeous curls, the musician posed in a top that perfectly matched Beyoncé's Marine Serre bodysuit from the film's iconic “Already” scene.

In the original announcement for the visual album back in June, Beyoncé revealed her reimagining of the Lion King is a love letter to Black culture. “Black Is King is a celebratory memoir for the world on the Black experience,” the statement read. “The film is a story for the ages that informs and rebuilds the present. A reunion of cultures and shared generational beliefs. A story of how the people left most broken have an extraordinary gift and a purposeful future."
“These timeless lessons are revealed and reflected through Black voices of today, now sitting in their own power,” the statement continued. “Black Is King is an affirmation of a grand purpose, with lush visuals that celebrate Black resilience and culture. The film highlights the beauty of tradition and Black excellence.”

“I can't possibly accept this award. I'm very humble and grateful and gracious, but the artist of my life is Beyoncé; for me, the Lemonade album was just so monumental, Beyoncé," she said in her speech. "It was so monumental. And so well thought out and so beautiful and soul-bearing and we all got to see another side to you that you don't always let us see and we appreciate that. And all us artists here adore you. You are our light. And the way that you make me and my friends feel, the way that you make my black friends feel, is empowering and you make them stand up for themselves and I love you. I always have, and I always will."
I just have one question: When will we get a collab? Or would all that talent rip the fabric of reality? I think it's worth the risk, tbh.
