Adeles Audience With: The best crowd moments you missed, from cheeky jokes to celebs dancing

Singing sensation Adele appeared on our screens this evening with her much-awaited Audience With Adele, in celebration of the release of her new album, 30, that fans have branded as her best yet.

The beautiful 33 year old star captivated the star-studded audience, with tracks from her brand new album, including chart-topping Easy On Me.

There were a lot of special moments in Adele's stunning concert, that saw the singer belt out Hometown to start the intimate show.

Here's a look at some of the moments you might not have spotted from the sensational show…

Dua Lipa cheering on Adele

When one singing sensation stands up and cheers on another it really is a goosebump inducing moment.

Dua Lipa was on her feet at the start of the show cheering on Adele, along with other famous faces, including Emma Watson and Boy George.

Adele drinks tea on stage

Embracing her Britishness, Adele picked up a cup of tea and drank it while on stage.

The singer was in-between songs with Hello next up when she picked up the tea and smiled at the audience.

Adele hilariously said: "Can I get a hot honey? That's a camomile" as she sipped the tea.

Feeling the nerves

Adele made the audience laugh as she said "I'm very nervous."

Over the sound of laughter and disbelief that one of the world's biggest stars could feel nerves, Adele said: "Oh come on, of course I am."

Dawn French asks for a song

Adele invited the audience to ask her questions, and amongst the celebrities standing up to ask was Dawn French.

Dawn asked why Adele had never written a song about her, causing laughter to erupt in the audience.

The Vicar of Dibley star then went to ask if Adele has people coming up to her all the time talking about their relationship issues – it was a definite yes from Adele, and she jokingly asked Dawn: "Why, you alright?"

Idris Elba boogies away

The audience were invited up to dance as Adele belted out Send My Love (To Your New Lover) and acting star Idris Elba was spotted bopping away.

He wasn't alone – Emma Thompson jived away and Alan Carr couldn't help but dance.

Adele raised the roof and all the stars danced away in unison in a magical moment.


Adele stops the song mid-way through

While singing her new song Easy On Me from the 30 album, Adele stopped the song mid-way through the first chorus to start it from the top.

Adele definitely has permission to do what she likes at her own Audience With.

Adele gushes over Beyonce

Adele was asked who her idols are, and an audience member immediately shouted "Beyonce."

Adele couldn't help but gush over the world famous singing star, but did say: "Beyonce is one of my favourites, not one of my idols, don't come for me."

Listing some of her idols, Adele added: "Barbara, Bette, Celion Dion, she's a joker and all isn't she!"

Emma Thompson living her best life

If there's one person you couldn't miss in the audience, it was actress Emma Thompson.

Bopping from left to right with a huge smile on her face throughout, the 62 year old Love Actually star is all of us as she embraced Adele's music.

Adele surprised by her teacher

After telling Emma Thompson which teacher had inspired her, the audience were all surprised to see that same teacher walk towards Adele.

Adele burst into tears at the surprise and embraced her teacher.

"I didn’t know that you were coming, you look exactly the same," she said, through tears.


The teacher told Adele: “Im so proud of you. not teaching anymore I’m just looking after my family," adding: "Thank you for remembering me."

Adele crying, playfully said: “Now i’ve got to get my whole face redone”

The teacher told Adele she now has two kids, and the singing star asked her for her number.

Alan Carr takes to the stage

While Adele got her makeup touched up after her teacher surprised her on stage, her close pal Alan Carr attempted to fill in, much to the delight of the crowd.

The comedian attempted to belt out Make You Feel My Love, and ended by playfully asking the crowd if there were any teachers there to see him too.
