An adult baby says his unconventional lifestyle makes it difficult for him to find work.

Damien Truner says he’s been sacked for “being childish” in the past.

The 28-year-old, from West Virginia, US, told Metro: “Employment is hard. I’m constantly in and out of jobs. Sometimes my employers find my pictures online or just can’t put up with the fact I’m wearing a diaper and acting childish in the workplace.”

Thankfully, has enough money saved up to support himself while he looks for a new job.

Even though he wants to be employed, it’s unlikely Damien will be ditching his nappies any time soon.

The American man, who has been experimenting with being an adult baby for a decade, finds nappies “convenient, comfortable and cute”.

Even though acting like a baby makes Damian feel “relaxed” and “safe”, his lifestyle attracts negative attention at times.

Even though his parents are supported, he admitted: “I’ve lost a few childhood best friends. I do still have a few good friends that all know about it. I never hide it – if you are around me it’s just the norm.”

The adult baby also has to deal with the judgement of strangers.

He revealed: “On the streets, everyone gives me weird looks.

“I always wear a diaper everywhere I go and sometimes I’ll only wear a onesie or just a shirt. Some times people take pictures or just walk the other way.”

Damian doesn’t let his critics hold him back.

He says the adult baby diaper lover (ABDL) community have been a lot more supportive of his life choices.

The young man has also been able to share common interests with the community, who he now considers his pals.

He added: “A lot of people in the diaper community actually reached out and I am now friends with a lot of them.”
