An American visiting the UK was left baffled by an item in their hotel room, leaving Brits in hysterics.
While our friends across the pond speak the same language as us, the culture barrier is truly rife.
From arguing about how to make a cup of tea to debating whatever on earth 'dishwasher salmon' is – there is no end to US vs UK themed quarrels.

Upon arriving in their hotel room, one American had a mooch about and discovered something they had never seen before in the bathroom… a radiator.
Well, specifically a heated towel rack. Confused about what the appliance is, the American took to none other than the 'Casual UK' subreddit to search for answers.
They wrote: "American here, what the hell is this in my hotel bathroom?
"My guess is it's for hanging and drying towels?"
Although they were bang on the money, the American was absolutely rinsed in the comments by hysterical Brits who poked fun at them with snark along with a barrage of laughing emojis.
One person mocked: "You put slices of bread on the gaps and by the time your shower is done or you're done taking a s***, got a lovely breakfast toast waiting for ya."
Another user added: "They're called radiators, mate."
While a third related: "As an American, these made no sense to me when I lived in the UK.
"I can't plug in something because I could electrocute myself but burning my bare butt when I get out of the shower is fine. I do like the toasty warm towels though."
Someone else questioned: "Don't you dry towels in America?"
Meanwhile, a fifth shared: "Today I learned Americans don't use towel rails."
The original poster claimed: "We don't.
"I'm looking forward to pre-toasting my briefs and towels and socks."
