Love Island star Amy Hart has welcomed her first child and shared the sweet name of her son.
The TV star, 30, welcomed her first child with boyfriend Sam Rason last week and took to social media to share the happy news.
Days later, Amy announced the name of her son as Stanley Samuel Giles Rason, which she broke down as different tributes to members of her family, as well as Sam's.
The TV star wrote: "Stanley Samuel Giles Rason.
"Stanley: We loved the name and also Amy’s Grandad Geoffs middle name. Samuel: After @samuelrason obviously but also Amys brother is Samuel too! Giles: Nanny and Grandads last name, hopefully he’ll inherit their love of shots!"
According to parenting website The Bump, the origin of the name Stanley is British and means "stony meadow".
"A name of British origin, Stanley is a boy’s name that means 'stony field'. It comes from the Old English words stan—'stone'—and leah—'clearing'—and refers to people who come from stony meadow," it says.
Amy shared the news she was going to announce her adorable little tot's name in one of her Instagram stories earlier in the day as she caught up with fans.
As well as revealing she will fill everyone in on what was in her hospital bag and what she actually used at the hospital, the star explained why she was so excited to let everyone know her baby boy's name.
"We will tell you his name today. It's not me dragging it out trying to be like suspense," she began, holding her tot in her arms.
"It's because we just love it so much and it's got so much meaning that we thought it deserved its own post," the star added.
The star's friends and former Love Island co-stars took to the comments to share their joy for the sweet announcement, praising the name choice.
Molly-Mae Hague, who is a new mum herself to baby Bambi, wrote: "Beautiful Stanley. adorable."
"So beautiful!!! Congrats!!" Joanna Chimonides gushed.
"He is absolutely scrumptious xxx," another person encouraged.
Only a day earlier, Amy and Sam shared a joint post announcing the safe arrival of their first child together, and the new mum ended up in labour and experiencing contractions for four days.
Despite going through an intense birth experience, Amy was over the moon to be home with her "dreamy" baby boy.
