Are THESE the best Christmas toys of 2019? UK fathers reveal their top picks after testing them out at home (and the winners cost as little as £6.99)
- Fathers from across the UK have picked their favourite toys for Christmas 2019
- Each Dad spent time testing the must-haves with their little ones at home
- The 12 winners include a £6.99 tractor to a bumper £129.99 Scalextric set
Come Christmas morning, excited children up and down the country will be opening stockings and unwrapping presents from under the tree.
But for parents, it can be difficult to know which gifts will provide lasting entertainment, and which are nothing more than a couple of hours of fun.
That’s why the Dad’s Choice Awards asks fathers from across the UK to test out some of this year’s must-have toys at home with their little ones to see which are really worth the money.
The awards were founded in 2013 by a group of fathers to ‘celebrate and recognise that Dads like to play with different toys and games with their children’ and have awarded ‘winner’, ‘highly commended’ and ‘commended’ badges to products in the years since.
Each toy was judged against a range of criteria including value for money, quality, ‘playablity’ and suitability for its target age group.
