Asda and Poundland are selling Lotus biscuits covered in chocolate

JUST when you thought Lotus Biscoff couldn't get any tastier, Poundland has only gone and started selling CHOCOLATE versions of the caramelised biscuits.

They're pretty much your standard Lotus Biscoff biscuits but with a slathering of Belgian chocolate on top of each one.

In case you've never tried them, Lotus Biscoff is famed for its distinctive caramel taste and is commonly served with coffee in cafes and restaurants.

Poundland is selling the chocolate covered ones in packs of seven, with each pack containing three biscuits – so you're getting 21 Lotus Biscoff for £1.

Asda and Sainsbury's are also selling the same packs for £1, although these are currently on promotion so they'll usually cost a bit more.

Asda usually charges £1.49 for the chocolate Lotus Biscoff, while Sainsbury's typically prices them at £1.25.

Poundland confirmed to The Sun that it started selling the chocolate Lotus Biscoff last week.

Sadly you can't order from Poundland online, so you'll need to venture down to your nearest shop to pick up a pack, or three.

Poundland has 500 stores in the UK – use the online shop finder to locate your nearest one.

We've asked Lotus Bakeries, the manufacturer of the biscuits, how many calories each one contains.

There's normally 37 calories per Lotus biscuit, so you can expect there to be slightly more with the added chocolate on top.

If you're not fussed about the chocolate, Poundland also sell packs of the original Lotus treats, as well as jars of Lotus spread.

Lotus Biscoff fans can get a year’s supply of biscuits for just £9 on Amazon.

And did you know there's now Biscoff and Go pots in the UK – and they only cost £1?

If you're looking to save some cash, Lidl shoppers reckon the supermarket's 65p biscuits tastes just the same as Lotus Biscoff.
