Billie Faiers has become a household name, not only for her reality TV gig but also her fashion choices and own brand launches.

Whether it’s debuting one of her many collections with online retailer In The Style or showcasing new outfits on Instagram, onlookers can't get enough of this yummy mummy.

Over the Easter weekend, Billie embraced Spring by wearing a rainbow striped knitted dress from her brand Minnie’s Boutique.

Fans were quick to praise the blonde babe for the colourful look, however she was later accused of copying designer Olivia Rubin's similar rainbow ensemble.

The outfit picture was posted on to the brand's Instagram page and there was one fan in particular that wasn’t impressed with the figure hugging dress.

One user complained by saying: “This is another copy of an olivia rubin dress! Why do you keep on ripping off small independent designers?!!!! Shocking behaviour.”

Olivia Rubin is a high end designer brand whose signature designs include rainbow brights and fun prints.

Billie’s brand replied to the comment by saying: “I’m sorry no it’s not?! Please get your facts right before you start writing on our post!!”

“And learn about Fashion and how the fashion world works. Thank you.”

The designer later took to social media to hit out over Billie’s outfit to her 179k followers.

Olivia penned: "I don't normally repost copies but I'm seeing it more and more; celebrities and other brands buying our clothes only to rip them off! This is just another level. Have some originality."

The designer then posted the two cardigans side by side, adding: "the colours, sequins, even down to the buttons."

  • The battle of the rainbow knitwear as Stacey Solomon, Amber Davies and Helen Flanagan wear pastel brights

Earlier this year we saw multiple celebrities such as Stacey Solomon and Love Island’s Jessica Hayes sport a rainbow creation from the luxury brand.

A few days later we saw Billie post an affordable dupe of the £250 cardigan, again from Minnie’s Boutique.

It is normally said that there has to be around ten differences between the original work and that which is accused of copying.

As much as we love to get a designer look for less, we totally understand that when it comes to designing it can be tricky not to imitate.
