Despite the rest of the world not thinking much of our grub, most Brits are proud of the often beige cuisine we produce.
However, the names of our go-to eats can often cause issues on the home turf.
If Southerners and Northerners aren't arguing about where's the best place to live, they're probably squabbling about accents.

Although, this time the civil food war has reignited due to the fish and chip shop.
All walks of Brits love a visit to the chippy, but they cannot agree on the 'correct' name of a delicacy from the takeaway.
Over on Reddit, Brits have been battling about the leftover bits of batter many like to feast on.
On the Casual UK subreddit, one wrote: "What does everyone call these from the chippy?"
They posted the controversial question alongside a snap of the crunchy pieces resting on a greasy white wrapping.
And it didn't take long for Brits to argue in the comments.
Some believed that they are called "scraps."
One said: "We call these scraps."
A second added: "I don’t think I’ve ever heard them called anything else."
While a third voiced: "Scraps in Leeds too."
But, not everyone agreed.
Others suggested that they're named "bits" or "batter bits."
"Scraps in Bradford, bits in Halifax," this Brit shared.
Another user expressed: "Bits in Hudds too!
"My dad used to own a late night chippy and he'd always bring us fish with bits home at the end of the night."

Someone else noted: "Batter bits."
And there were some more left-field answers.
"Scranchins in Northumberland," a Brit wrote.
"No I am not making this up as my mates from Newcastle claim."
This person said: "Gribbles in Devon."
"I tell Americans that they're called chippywapples," this Brit revealed.
