Build-a-Bear launches new Lion King range with prices starting from £21.50

THE Lion King has come to Build-a-Bear as you can now create your own favourite Pride Land characters.

Celebrate the Circle of Life and build either a Simba, Nala or Pumba soft toy.

Young Nala and Simba toys start at £21.50, which is only £2 more than the Traditonal Cocoa Bear.

"Teen" Nala and Pumba cost a little more at £24, whilst adult Simba will cost you £27.

Clothing prices start at £5 for a t-shirt, with full outfit sets setting you back between £10 and £14.

Young Nala could be dressed up in a princess frock or you could mix Disney and put Simba in a Genie costume.

Shoes will cost you between £4.50 and £6 for a pair.

Accessories can cost as little as £2 for a headband and £16 for a house for your soft toy.

Ultimately, it could get pretty pricey so here's a key way to ensure that you're aware of any savings that could be made.

2. Teddy Bear Picnic Sale

Until 11th July 2019, Build-a-Bear is holding a Happy Teddy Bear Picnic Day Sale online, allowing customers to purchase a furry friend on offer – prices start at just £10, saving you at least £11.50 if you'd had purcahsed a Traditional Bear. Any outfits or accessories will have to be bought separately.

3. £10 off your £30 Purchase

Until 11.59pm today (7th July 2019), shoppers can get £10 off purchases of £30 or more using the code JULY30. Unfortunately it isn't valid on the Disney collections or other special releases and can't be used with other offers but you might be able to make a saving today.

4. Count Your Candles

As well as a birthday gift if you're a Bonus Club member, if you go into a Build-a-Bear workshop to count your candles on any day during your birthday month, the age you're turning is how much your Birthday Treat Bear costs to make.

Customers can personalise their Lion King toy with outfits and accessories and you can even add an iconic song from the film so when you press its paw, "I Just Can't Wait To Be King" could start playing.

The tunes do cost an extra £5 but we think it's so worth it.

Ordinarily, the sound feature starts at £2.50 for a basic 'I love you' message.

The experience also includes posing with your new toy for a photo at Pride Rock.

Available at all Build-a-Bear stores, find your nearest workshop with the shop's store finder.
