Captain America is calling on authorities to find the man who attacked Rick Moranis.
Upon reading the news that the “Ghostbusters” star, 67, was randomly punched on the Upper West Side Thursday morning, Chris Evans took to Twitter to express his rage.
“My blood is boiling. Find this man,” Evans, 39, tweeted. “You don’t touch Rick Moranis.”
A surveillance clip showed the “Little Giants” star walking south on Central Park West near West 70th Street — steps from his apartment building — around 7:30 a.m. Thursday when a stranger slugged him for no apparent reason and knocked him to the ground.
Moranis’ rep confirmed the reclusive actor was the victim of the attack and said he was doing OK.
“Rick Moranis was assaulted on the Upper West Side yesterday,” Troy Bailey said in a statement to Page Six. “He is fine but grateful for everyone’s thoughts and well wishes.”
