Most of us who can do simple maths knows that 2 + 3 = 5, however the quiz claims that it actually adds up to 10. It also claims 8 + 4 = 96, 7 + 2 = 63 and 6 + 5 = 66.
People are then tasked with finding out what 9 + 5 equals if they follow the same formula – and we can probably guarantee it doesn't add up to 14 like we'd usually think.
Baffled adults have been taking to social media to admit they don't know how to figure out the quiz, saying 'the math 'aint mathing'. Many have been guessing a range of answers – including 23 and 70.
However some people were able to get the right answer and figure out what the key to solving this question really was.
Those who want to try and figure out the quiz, maybe stop reading now before we tell you the answer. However, if you just can't wait, we'll give you the secret behind the equation.
By now you've probably figured out that the entire quiz is a trick. The question isn't actually asking you to just do some basic addition – it's more of a logic puzzle than a maths one.
