Emma Cloud Duvet review
- Emma Cloud Duvet, from £54.50 at Emma – buy here
As the old expression goes: buy cheap, buy twice.
Subsequently, we’ve bought a lot of duvets in our lives. Who wants to transport a bulky, cheap duvet cross-country in an already packed-out hatchback when you could just spend an extra tenner in a supermarket when you get to your new home?
But the Emma Cloud Duvet is the first duvet we’ve owned that we’ll be making a commitment to keep hold of.
It’s lightweight, super-soft and not bulky in the slightest. Its 6.7 tog rating means it’s a great intermediate duvet that should please most unless you run very hot or very cold at night.
You could certainly buy a nice duvet for less (and we won’t be spending the £100 RRP any time soon!), but, at the time of writing, the Cloud Duvet is on sale at £54.50 and we’d be surprised if you couldn’t find a similar deal for large chunks of the calendar.
Emma also makes a commitment to ensure its products last and you’ll even get a 14-night trial with free returns to give the Cloud Duvet a whirl yourself. We’d recommend giving it a go.
Emma Cloud Duvet: material

Emma’s Cloud Duvet is made from super-soft microfiber.
In our opinion, it feels every bit as lux as goosedown, so it’s a great alternative if you’d prefer not to buy animal products.
As an added bonus, it’s machine-washable, so you can keep your bedding fresh, no matter how many cups of coffee you accidentally slosh over yourself in the morning.
The duvet weighs between 1.5kg and 2.88kg depending on the size you get and you can find out the specific weight of your chosen model here.
What else does Emma make?
Most people will be familiar with Emma for its mattresses.
The Emma Original mattress is typically at the more affordable end of the scale when it comes to mattress-in-a-box companies.

One of our favourite sleep accessories we’ve tested recently, though, is the Emma Microfibre Pillow.
Similar to the Cloud Duvet, it’s incredibly soft but also manages to be supportive and we now notice a significant difference when we sleep with anything else under our heads.
