TRACY Metcalfe gets the help she needs following her postnatal depression breakdown.
The new mum – who is played by Amy Walsh in the ITV soap – has been silently struggling with postnatal depression for several weeks following the birth of her daughter Frankie.
However, this week, Tracy finally opened up about her mental health struggles after considering taking her own and baby Frankie’s life.
Next week’s episodes of Emmerdale will see Nate tell Tracy that he’s proud of her for working through it all.
Tracy warns Nate not to expect an instant fix.
Emmerdale fans were left in tears after Tracy tried to give up baby Frankie after she was rushed to a crisis centre this week.
A specialist team offered her support and told her they could help her through it all – and she seemed hopeful.
However, when Nate visited her, she had slipped back and told him that she couldn’t face being a mother.
She told Nate: “I’m sorry Nate. I can’t. It wouldn’t be fair on you – either of you. It’s over, Nate.
“The sooner they let us out of here, Frankie’s yours.”
