Ethan Hawke’s daughter, Maya, is a star and he’s making sure everyone knows it.
The 21-year-old had her breakout role in Season 3 of “Stranger Things” playing Robin, a teenager who works at Scoops Ahoy, and her dad was clearly a fan.
Hawke dedicated an Instagram post to his daughter and told everyone that his child is the “real thing.”
“Some of you may have missed her in last year’s BBC production of Little Women,” the proud dad started off his post. “Some of you may have missed her work at Juilliard. I know many missed out on numerous high school productions — heck I even missed a few and I’m her father.”
In spite of all of that, Hawke had one thing to say.
“But Ladies & Gentleman, get to know MAYA HAWKE,” the “First Reformed” star wrote. “She’s the real thing.”

The post received praise from fellow stars and fans agreeing that Hawke’s daughter was the truth.
Even the account for Stranger Things took notice and commented “ALL HAIL ROBIN” with three ice cream emojis to follow.
“Wayward Pines” star Carla Gugino also took notice of Hawke’s talented daughter.
“I concur! And I’m not her father,” wrote the actress.
