Gemma Owen shows off huge horse riding grounds at £4million family mansion

Love Island runner up Gemma Owen has shown off her astonishing horse riding skills and revealed the ginormous training grounds at her £4m mansion.

The reality star demonstrated her top tier dressage skills as she rode elegantly around the stables. The video was released as an Instagram story on Sunday night of Gemma riding her horse, Sirius.

Gemma also shared the video on her TikTok as she put the horse through its paces. She captioned the post: "Not at all rider fit yet but loving being back."

Luca Bish and family watched on for the day, as Gemma was filmed gallivanting around on horseback.

The filming took place at her own stables, at her family's home owned by mum and dad.

The Love Island favourite has previously indulged fans with a look at the stables which she shares with brother James, 16, and sisters Emily, 14, and Jessica, 12.

Gemma, 19, is a professional rider who has previously revealed that she started competing for Great Britain at just 11 years old.

The daughter of footballing legend and Ballon D'or winner, Michael Owen, said: "I’ve travelled all across Europe competing in big arenas in big competitions. I would say I’m very competitive."

Gemma's passion for horses comes from her mother who rescues retired racehorses. Louise Bonsall (Gemma's mum) founded Manor House Stables, located in Cheshire, in 2007 and has since expanded with her husband Michael Owen.

Louise has long been an ambassador for the British Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre, ensuring horses have good lives after their time as racehorses comes to an end.

Earlier this month the dating show finalist enjoyed her first ride since returning from the villa. The dressage rider shared another clip on TikTok captioned: "Back onboard my boy after a long 10 weeks."

The islander has an eyewatering amount of horses totalling 12, who are all kept at the property in Cheshire, including her favourite, Sirius.

Gemma's "not official" boyfriend got the seal of approval from her other “favourite boy” Sirius, as Bish stood next to Sirius Black (named after a harry potter character).

Obviously overjoyed with the bond between her two boys, Gemma uploaded a photo of them both whilst Gemma was on Sirius. She wrote next to it: "New bromance".

Other islanders were quick to gush over the photo with fellow contestant Antigoni saying: "stop this is so cute".

Gemma responded admitting that the former fish monger was anxious to meet the giant horse. She responded: "Luca was so nervous with him at first," with a laughing emoji.

Luca and Gemma finished second to Davide and Ekin-su, and received 14% of the final vote. Although some questions were made over Luca's behaviour during the time in the villa, Gemma stole the hearts of the nation with her blunt takes and direct attitude.

The 19 year old dressage rider has recently put pen to paper on a deal with Pretty Little Thing, the first Love Island signing since Molly-Mae Hague.
