If you are a fan of Hell’s Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay’s hilarious and rage-filled rants, it is hard to imagine the TV chef’s domestic lifestyle.
However, he does exist outside our TV screens and busy commercial kitchens. In fact, he is completely different person; less shouty, more family man.
The multi-Michelin star chef has five children together with his wife Tana and they live between their houses in London, L.A and Cornwall. Here is everything you need to know about his family.
Who is Gordon Ramsay’s wife?
Cayetana Elizabeth Ramsay is a cookery book author and TV presenter. You may also recognise her because she appeared on Dancing On Ice back in 2010. Before taking off in the culinary world and writing many books, she worked as a school teacher, trained in the Montessori style which is a holistic approach to children’s education.
In an interview with the Telegraph the brunette beauty described how: "Gordon just loves winding people up. Absolutely loves it. You have to understand him to know what he’s like, and I understand him absolutely."
How did they meet?
Before Tana grew to "understand him" so well she met the TV chef back in 1992, when he was 26 and she was just 18. According to Bustle, Tana was actually dating a different chef at the time who was friend of Gordon’s, however they finally hooked up when she became single.

At the beginning of their relationship it was tricky on account of the long hours Gordon worked in the restaurant.
“I would work, come home, sleep, and wake up again when Gordon finished work. We'd meet up in the small hours. That was the only way we could be together, and we really wanted to be together,” Tana told The Sun.
However they stuck with it and got married in Chelsea in 1996 and have been together ever since.
Who are Gordon Ramsay’s children?
Gordon and Tana have five children; Megan, 22, twins Jack and Holly, 20, Tilly, 18,and one year old Oscar.
The chef describes his parenting style as ‘firm but fair’ and speaking on a US radio station said he told his children: “I will give you everything I've got to get you to the very top.”
He added: “It's like not employing the kids. I don't want the staff thinking, it's Ramsay's kid, we can't tell them off.
“You want to work in this business? You go off to another chef, learn something different and come back with something new to improve the business.”
