Heinz has axed one of its most popular soup flavours – and fans are not happy.
One Brit took to X, formerly Twitter, to ask where the iconic can went, only to be left devastated by the response. The firm then explained why it came to the decision.
The person asked about the Cream of Tomato Soup with a kick of chilli. They revealed it was their "favourite soup" and begged Heinz to send them a crate.

The post read: "Hey, @HeinzUK just heard you guys are discontinuing the Cream of Tomato soup with a hint of chilli. Guys, come on, it's my favourite soup."
They added: "I bet you have loads in a warehouse somewhere, if it's all getting chucked can you at least send me a crate? Be a mate."
Heinz confirmed the heartbreaking news that they had stopped making the iconic flavour. The post read: "It's sad when a favourite disappears, we will pass on your comments to our team. Sorry, we do not have any left."
The Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup with a hint of chilli is quite like the original recipe but comes with a spicy kick. Its full description added: "An exciting twist to our famous and much-loved soup."
Meanwhile the X user jokingly asked whether the food manufacturer could let them know the "monster who made this decision". They said: "It'd do a lot to mend this rift that's grown between us."

The news comes as Heinz axed its Veg Hoops. The cupboard essential came with pasta hoops made from carrot and cauliflower, served in a tomato and sweet potato sauce.
Meanwhile Heinz isn't the first company to announce a shake-up with its products. Recently, Walkers axed another flavour of its iconic crisps – and told fans "we're sorry".
A customer noticed they couldn't find packets of Max Fiercely Flamin Hot crisps anywhere she looked. So she asked the snack manufacturer if they were gone for good.
