How a busy mum-of-two lost 50 KILOS to sculpt her dream body – and the workout she swears by for toned arms

  • Jala Allouche, 33, is a busy mother of two kids living in Lake Munmorah, NSW
  • Since 2016 she has lost more than 50 kilos following Ally’s Angels and Alphas
  • The customised coaching system and nutrition advice has ‘changed her life’
  • She now trains upwards of six times a week in the gym to achieve her goals

An Australian mother-of-two has revealed how she lost a whopping 54 kilos after committing to five years of meal prepping, gym workouts and the phrase ‘everything in moderation’.

Jala Allouche, 33, joined customised coaching website Ally’s Angels and Alphas to train with three-time WBFF champion Alicia Gowans in 2016, a year after giving birth to her son Emad. At this stage she weighed 114 kilos.

Determined to become the ‘best version of herself’ the admin worker living in Lake Munmorah, NSW, drew inspiration from her husband and children and decided to make a lifestyle change.

She started by exercising at her closest gym, attending workout classes and going to CrossFit, sometimes getting up at 4am to train before her husband had to go to work.

‘I learned how to bulk meal prep to save time. I would make sure I was prepared with my meals to stay on track with my nutrition. I was focused and I had to learn to have patience,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

‘In 2016 I messaged Alicia Gowans on Instagram asking for help with my weight loss journey and it has completely changed my life.’

With Team Ally Mrs Allouche learnt how to balance her lifestyle with training while still meeting her fitness goals.

‘Alicia has taught me to work smarter not harder when it comes to training and nutrition. I learned not every week would go to plan and I just had to keep moving forward one step at a time to reach my goals,’ she said.

A typical week for Mrs Allouche will include cardio, four to six sessions of strength work and a 45-minute session on a stationary bike.

To supplement all of her work in the gym the 33-year-old busy mum preps many of her breakfast, lunch and dinner options to cut down on overall cooking time.

Her first meal of the day will typically be oats, an EHPlabs OxyWhey protein shake and blueberries before a mid-morning snack of banana, corn thins and peanut butter.

For lunch it’s a chicken and salad wrap with sweet potato fries and an afternoon tea of banana, blueberries, grapes and strawberries.

Finally, dinner could be turkey rissoles, spud-lite potatoes and green beans followed by a piece of chocolate on any given day.
