Claire invited OK! to take a look around the house which she has kept very traditional, revealing her favourite room in the house is the sitting room.
"I've just managed to decorate it but the soft furnishings need a few touches at the moment they're on order. It's just such a lovely homely family room," Claire said.
But its not used as regularly as you may think: "The sitting room, which we mainly use at Christmas time because it is nice and warm and when the fire is going it just makes such a great ambience."

There's a smart green three-piece sofa featured in the space with big white cushions to make it cosy, and the walls are painted in a lighter shade of mint green to complement the furniture.
Claire has also kept the room very traditional with dark exposed wooden beams on the roof and an enormous patterned rug covering the deep red carpet.
Finishing touches include huge framed pictures, a gold framed vintage mirror and a sweet painting of her first pony, Rocket, given to her by her parents.
Moving on from the sitting room, Claire's dining room has a huge oak table at the centre: "It is perfect for entertaining and dinner parties and things like that.
"Not that I have many of those because I'm too busy working most of the time, but it's just got a nice old feel to it. It's a characterful house," she added.
The fire place in the sitting room is actually in the same dividing wall as the dining room, so both rooms create a cosy vibe in the winter months when the fire is lit.
Inside Celebrity Houses
Claire's third favourite room is the sun room: "It is lovely and a complete contrast to the rest of the house which is oldy worldy and full of character.
"This is more modern, leather and chrome and nice hessian curtains with great views from the French windows out onto the garden and beyond onto the paddocks."
She added of the being surrounded by the Yorkshire Dales: "It's peaceful, it's quiet, I don't have neighbours overlooking and I think that's why I fell in love with the place in the first place because it was so private, and just tranquil."
Taking the camera around the airy room, Claire shows off her white leather sofa styled with cushions printed with small horses.
There's cream curtains hanging across the patio doors and mirrors to bring even more light and space into the room, as Claire continued: "It's great because it's really light and bright and it's great for sitting in on a summer's day."
Not one to shy away from her accolades, Claire also pointed out her two acting awards that she won for her role as Kim Tate in Emmerdale.
There's horsey memorabilia dotted all the way throughout Claire's home, much like her Emmerdale character Kim, they both shared a fondness for riding and horses.
And her love for animals continues up to her fourth favourite room, the spare bedroom, which she has dubbed the "African Room".

There are framed photos of lions, elephants and leopards which Claire has snapped herself, as well as traditional wooden objects adorning the chest of drawers and even a carefully handcrafted throw on the bed.
As well as her mini statue of a jockey called Frankie, Claire says she finds solace in retreating back home after a long day at work.
"After the mayhem of working in the studios or going on tour, to come back home to this, to see the Dales, suddenly this weight is lifted off your shoulders. It's fabulous I love it."
