Inside Love Islands Jess and Doms amazing house renovation in before and after snaps

Love Island's Jess Shears and Dom Lever have shared incredible pictures of their house renovation.

The couple bought a house in Devon and started refurbishing it in the summer of 2021.

Both Jess ,27, and Dom, 32, share many aspects of their lives on social media, and their DIY project is one of them.

Posting snaps on Instagram, showing both before and after the project started, Jessica Rose said: "We are so happy we did so much of our renovation ourselves, learning along the way and creating memories makes it even more special. "

Images show that before they started redecorating, the house was in need of modernisation, with tattered carpets, old fashioned wallpaper and stuffy rooms.

The couple, who met on Love Island in 2017, then began to completely revamp the home, by ripping up flooring, stripping wallpaper and even knocking down walls.

After two years of work, the house is coming together, with the new images showing a brand new kitchen area fitted with herringbone flooring and plenty of luxury touches.

One fan commented: "Power couple, house looks amazing." Another added: "So special doing it yourself well done looking fabulous."

A third fan said: "love your guys style." While another gushed: "Wow! Great job!"

Jess has been documenting the renovation on her Instagram stories and has made a story highlight where fans can see the project coming together.

She regularly links to products used and even joked that the work caused friction between the loved-up couple.

Jess posted: "We attempted to fit a window today – nearly caused a divorce."

She added: "We may have had our worst arguments ever whilst doing this. It wasn't pretty. I will never try and fit a window again.

"Took us like six hours, would have taken a fitter like 30 minutes."

The couple have boasted about doing a lot of the renovation work themselves, in another post, Jess said: "We had someone in to do the plumbing, electrics, lay the herringbone flooring, plastering, fit the French doors.

"But we learnt to overboard, fit skirting and architrave, tile, fit our kitchen, fit a window, build new stud walls and more."

The home is styled quite minimalist but cosy, with muted colours and small home accessories. The kitchen is fitted with sandy wooden units and a marble top.

They also shared pictures of their son's room which features a mountain landscape painted onto the wall.

After their villa departure, Jess and Dom were quick to marry and they welcomes their first child back in October 2019.

Then in June 2022, they announced the arrival of their second child. They now have two boys and despite posting regular pictures of them, they have not revealed their names.
