Inside Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Bekes regal home with fancy curtains and stunning high ceilings

Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke’s home has the same traditional elegance associated with ballroom dancing.

There are glamorous fringed curtains, high ceilings and wooden floors; it has an old time glamour befitting of Anton himself.

In a 2019 interview with Radio 5 Live, the star was complimented by host Anna Foster on his backdrop as he joined the conversation from home.

The shocked presenter said of Anton’s home: “Anton du Beke, your background, good grief, those beautiful curtains!”

The 57 year old then responded: “I tell you, in our house it’s death by swags and tails let me tell you.

“We’ve got fringing, the whole malarkey. It’s like an abundance of fabric and it’s really quite nice actually.

“And I like to just sort of put myself in the little bay windows. It’s sort of quite regal, I quite like it really.”

Aside from the fabulous mint green curtains the room also has a polished walnut dining table, complete with cream-coloured high back chairs.

The space is perfecting for hosting alongside his wife, Hannah Summers.

In the bay window is also a gorgeous bouquet of flowers that really adds to the traditional and classy feel of the space.

During lockdown Anton was teaching virtual ballroom dance tutorials as well as his 'Fit at 50' exercise classes from his living room.

This space has ballroom-quality wooden floors and large floral patterned curtains, complete with blue fringing across the top.

The walls are painted a very traditional peachy-beige colour and the large bay windows flood the room with natural light.

It is also the perfect space, when not used for digital classes, for his twins George and Henrietta, five, to play around in.

Pre-lockdown, when the room was not being used as a studio it was the family's cosy living room.

In this sweet snap that Anton posted on World Book Day, his twins are listening to their father read them a story.

The space contains a cream sofa filled with cushions and many children's toys.

His kids' matching dinosaur armchairs are also totally adorable.
