Youtube superstar, Jake Paul, has once again shocked the world with his punching power and boxing skills by winning a bout against UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley for the second time in dramatic knockout fashion. The fight came as a result of Tyron’s loss in their first fight back in August 2021, where 24-year old Jake Paul won against the 39-year old Woodley by unanimous decision. Woodley promised a punishing rematch against Paul, but instead, he was brutally knocked out in the sixth round by a social media influencer with an amateur boxing record of 5 wins, 0 defeats, and four knockouts. That’s an impressive and dominant win, to say the least, over a seasoned fighter like Woodley, who has been a professional MMA fighter since 2000.

Both fighters also walked away with a nice purse for their efforts in the ring. According to Sports Zion, Jake Paul’s guaranteed salary was $1.5 million, which included the $500,000 bonus he received before the match in the form of a championship belt. But taking into account the PPV sales, that price would likely increase to about $4 million. On the other hand, Tyron Woodley had a guaranteed earning of $1 million and 30% of the PPV earnings, including the $500,000 bonus that would’ve been his if he won the fight. Clearly, that didn’t happen, so that went to the winner, Jake Paul. The fighters both received roughly $2 million for their first bout in August, so it’s expected that they would’ve pocketed between $3 million $5 million this time around.
