- Keeley, 28, from London, appeared on Channel 4’s 24 Hours in A&E last night
- Mother-of-four said she learned she was pregnant with first baby while in labour
- She was 14-years-old and she had been ‘trampolining at school’ days before
A mother-of-four who revealed she first fell pregnant at the age of fourteen after having sex with her thirteen-year-old boyfriend left viewers of 24 Hours in A&E stunned last night.
Keeley, 28, from London, appeared on the Channel 4 documentary with her partner Michael after taking their youngest daughter Cydney, two, to Kings College Hospital in London.
The couple shocked viewers as they described how they had met as young teenagers through Facebook and started having sex after Michael saw it in a drama on TV.
Then fourteen-year-old Keeley had no idea she was pregnant until she became unwell while at her grandmother’s house, giving birth hours later.

The couple attended the hospital after noticing their two-year-old Cydney hadn’t passed urine for two days.
Keeley explained: ‘When I first met Michael I was about 13, maybe 14. We met through friends just hanging out.’
He said: ‘I found her on Facebook, I messaged her and didn’t think I’d get a reply. When I saw she had responded, I smiled and then we started talking from there.
‘Keeley was loving, always there when I needed someone to talk to and we’ve never looked back really.’

‘We have four kids, Chelsea, 13, Chanel, six, Kaden, four, and Cydney, two.’
Keeley said: ‘Just after my 15th birthday, I fell poorly. I was at my nan’s house. She phoned an ambulance and I went to King’s College with a suspected kidney infection.
‘I was in A&E and they took me upstairs to do a kidney scan and the midwife looked at my mum, and said, “She’s having a baby”. Chelsea was born 37 minutes later.’
The mother-of-four added she had ‘no idea’ she was pregnant, adding: ‘I went to school two days before I had Chelsea and did trampolining and played football on the teams at school.

‘When Mum phoned the school, she said, “Keeley can’t come to school today because she has had a baby”, my head of year said: “Are you for real? She was on the trampoline two days ago.”
Michael added: ‘I was thirteen when I became a dad. I was really shocked. One day, mum went out and my brother and I were watching TV and saw the dramas, people having sex – and we started laughing about it.
‘I thought, let me try it, see what happens. And then, we did.’
Recalling the first time they had sex as young teenagers, he explained: ‘I was scared.
During the programme, Michael described how he had sex with Keeley when he was 13-years-old after watching people being intimate on TV
‘I closed my eyes and kissed her and she said to me, “Urgh”‘. After that it was just normal.
‘I was at school, and I got a message on my phone. I phoned her and she said, “I just had a baby”.
‘I paused for like five seconds. I was happy after that. That’s when I went to go and see her.’
He said he didn’t have ‘any regrets’ about the decision to have sex so young, saying: ‘I’ll do anything for my children. I love them more every day. The more children we had, the more love we had.’
Many of those watching the programme were left stunned after the couple described having their first baby as young teenagers
Keeley added: ‘People’s attitude to teenage mothers are, we’re young and stupid. We’re not young and stupid. Some of us cope better than adults.’
Michael recalled pushing around a pram and feeling strangers staring at them, explaining: ‘Keeley would say to me, “Don’t worry, we’ll smile at them. This is our child, let’s take things one day at a time and make the most of it.”
‘When I was younger, I was most worried about not being a good dad. A lot of my friends have ended up in prison.
‘But it actually got me to the path where I thought, I’ve got a child, I’ve got a child. It always kept me on the right path.’
The family were taken in to see doctor Firas, who ordered blood tests for their daughter which came back normal, before sending the trio home to rest.
However viewers were baffled by the age of the young parents, with one writing: ‘She had a kid at 15-years-old? Why the **** wasn’t he arrested?’
Another wrote: ‘So he was 13. Then she should be in prison. Dirty ******* ****, sh***** a 13-year-old.’
One added: ‘Contraception is always good.’
Girl, 11, becomes Britain’s youngest mother after getting pregnant aged just TEN
An 11-year-old girl has become Britain’s youngest mother after she gave birth earlier this month having fallen pregnant aged just 10 years old, according to reports earlier this summer.
The mother and her baby, that was delivered after more than 30 weeks of pregnancy, are both healthy and being cared for. The girl has not been named.
Her family had no idea she was pregnant, according to The Sun. The newspaper reported that social services and council chiefs are investigating the matter.
‘It has come as a big shock,’ the newspaper quoted a source close to the family as saying. ‘She’s now being surrounded by expert help. The main thing is that she and the baby are OK.’
‘This is the youngest mother I’ve heard of,’ doctor Carol Cooper told The Sun, explaining that the average age a girl begins puberty is 11, although it can be at anytime from 8 to 14.
Cooper added that weight has an effect on many hormones, and that as children are heavier than they used to be, puberty is now happening earlier.
Before the 11-year-old gave birth, Britain’s youngest mother was Tressa Middleton, who was just 12 when she had a baby in 2006.
Middleton, who is now in her mid-20s, fell pregnant after she was raped by her brother. Her child was taken into social care, and her brother was jailed.
Doctor Cooper said that ‘around one in every 2,500 births’ occur to someone who either did not know she is pregnant, or has hidden it from their family and friends.
In 2014, a baby was born to a 12-year-old mother and 13-year-old father, the lowest combined aged of parents in Britain.
In 2017, it was reported that another 11-year-old girl had given birth, but no further details emerged.
