Neighbours star Katie Keltie has shared ‘incredible news’ with fans and supporters, revealing her stage four cancer is ‘completely gone’,
The actress, 37, was diagnosed in November, with a GoFundMe page set up for the star who explained it had spread to her lymph nodes, blood, and hip bones.
Keltie, who is best known for playing Michelle Scully on the Aussie soap between 1999 and 2003, was gifted $37,000 (£19,875) through the page from fans and well-wishers.
Holly Candy, who stars alongside Katie in the Australian soap as her sister Felicity, was reported to have donated $2,000 (£1,074) to the page with her husband Nick Candy.
However, in an update from Keltie, she revealed she had some ‘incredible news’ to share.
‘I recently received results of my latest scan and was told that there had been a complete metabolic response to diseased areas,’ she wrote on the page, which has since been deleted.
‘In other words, it seems I am cancer-free.’
Katie’s update was removed and the GoFundMe page was deactivated last month, Mail Online reported.
It smashed its initial $25,000 (£13,428) target, amassing $37,362 (£20,067) before being passed to Keltie, a GoFundMe spokesman confirmed to the news site.
Before the revelation she was cancer-free, Katie shared her thanks to those that had donated to the fundraiser.
‘I just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your support, and messages and phone calls,’ she wrote. ‘It’s so amazing to know I have so many incredible people in my corner.

‘I’ve just got over COVID and I start my first round of chemotherapy tomorrow, and you really have no idea how my head space has changed going into it because of each and every one of you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.’
Neighbours ended after 37 years on air last year, following Channel 5’s controversial decision to axe the beloved serial drama.
However, saving the day for fans of the soap, Amazon Freevee stepped in to revive the soap, which will return to screens next year.
Neighbours legend Alan Fletcher, who has played Karl Kennedy since 1994, has promised the show will ‘start with a big bang’ on its return.
