She was born in Wandsworth, London to former Conservative Chancellor of the Exchequer and Vanessa Lawson, whose family owned the J. Lyons and Co. food and catering business.

The chef has an extremely lavish lifestyle.

Living in her £5million mews central London home, the pad comes with a huge AGA and her own studio for filming.

She regularly shares sneak peeks of her home onto her social media.

The home boasts a metallic tiled backsplash as well as her large fridge with its own wine selection.

Other photos on the chef’s Instagram feed reveal an expansive book shelf with old hardback books, a leather armchair and footstool, a dining table and a glass panelled ceiling with low-hanging lights.

As well as having more than 12 cookbooks, Nigella regularly has her own cooking shows on television.

These have included Nigella Bites, Nigella’s Christmas and Nigella Feasts.

In her personal life, Nigella married journalist John Diamond in 1992 and the pair had two children together before John passed in 2001.

Nigella married art collector Charles Saatchi in 2003, However, the marriage ended with divorce in 2013.
