‘These are some of my favourite and most commonly-used products for clients’ pantries,’ Belle posted on Instagram.
‘If organising your pantry is a job you’ve been putting off for a while, now is your time for a lockdown project.’
The majority of what Belle recommends people buy is from Kmart, which has an ‘awesome click and collect service’.
‘I normally purchase pantry containers from the Kitchen Warehouse, who also do Click and Collect or delivery for those who are not within 5km of a store,’ she said.
‘There are definitely cheaper containers available, I’ve heard the Target ones are great, but my top piece of advice is: always read the reviews before you purchase.
‘The cheap ones might be great for now, but you don’t want to be re-purchasing in a couple of years due to faulty seals. Air tight containers are so important so your food stays fresh.’
Belle also likes Click Clack and Oxo for containers, and said it’s often worth spending your money on containers over anything else in your pantry.
‘Good quality containers is where you should spend a bit more, and most pantries require about 20,’ she said.
You can save money on Kmart baskets and storage, which can be used for backstock and snacks, as well as things like jars and oils (pictured)
Following this, the professional home organiser said you might want to buy some rattan baskets and metal clips for things like backstock and snacks.
With these, Belle said you don’t need to spend as much money – and somewhere like Kmart is perfect.
The discount store currently has a range of wicker storage baskets starting from around $10.
‘Tiered shelves from Kmart are great for storing your spices and cans,’ Belle said.
‘I also like the turntables or lazy susans from Kmart for sauces, oils and spreads.’
Speaking to FEMAIL, Belle shared her top tips for transforming your pantry in lockdown, and her simple five-step guide (finished result pictured)
Belle first of all recommends you clear out anything that is past its use-by or best-before date to make room for your containers (before and after transformation pictured)
Step-by-step guide to the perfect pantry
STEP ONE: Take everything out of the pantry and chuck anything that is past its use-by date.
STEP TWO: Get your air-tight stackable containers and decant all of your flours, rice and grains into them.
STEP THREE: Use tubs or baskets for foods like your ready meals, backstock and snacks.
STEP FOUR: Use tiered shelves and turntables for foods like spices, oils, sauces and jars to make it easier to see them.
STEP FIVE: Label everything.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Belle shared her top tips for transforming your pantry in lockdown.
‘Before you do anything, you need to take everything out of your pantry and throw out everything that’s passed its use-by date,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
‘You’d be surprised what often lurks at the back of your pantry for much longer than it should.’
Secondly, the professional home organiser recommends getting your good quality, air-tight, stackable containers ready to decant flours, rice and grains into.
‘This will save you space, keep your food fresher, and avoid the dreaded weevils from taking over your space,’ she said.
‘You can also re-purpose any old jars and containers you have, provided they are definitely airtight. I use Mocona jars and place them on shelf raisers from Kmart.’
Next, Belle recommends tubs or baskets for foods like your ready meals, backstock and snacks.
These can sit underneath your shelves.
‘Use tiered shelves and turntables to maximise space and label absolutely everything, so that everyone in your house knows exactly where to put things away,’ she said.
Turntables make great additions so you can see anything, while metal clips stuck on to baskets mean you can label absolutely everything (pictured)
Belle said transforming your home and keeping it neat and organised doesn’t have to be expensive (one of her storage ideas pictured)
Belle regularly shares before and after transformations of the pantries she has worked on on Instagram.
She said transforming your home and keeping it neat and organised doesn’t have to be expensive.
‘One of the most common questions I get asked by my clients is how to be more organised and avoid clutter in the home,’ Belle said.
‘For me, it’s most important to have a non-negotiable evening routine, an in tray or tub for each family member, a grown-out-of basket or tub in your kids’ wardrobe and a husband or man bowl or drawer so the men in your life don’t leave their keys, wallet and sunglasses lying around.’
