Queen Letizia of Spain cut a stylish figure as she attended a glitzy ceremony in Madrid today.
The royal, 47, who was accompanied by her husband King Felipe VI, 51, dazzled in a long black dress which featured sequined capped sleeves and was complete with gold floral detail.
She paired her chic ensemble with a pair of delicate black open-toe heels and accessorised with gold dangling earrings.
The mother-of-three was attending the delivery of the 36th edition of the Journalist Award ‘Francisco Cerecedo’ at the Palace Hotel.

Letizia, who is mother to Leonor, Princess of Asturias, 14, and Infanta Sofía of Spain, 12, opted for a layer of blusher and dark pink eye shadow to complete her look.
The Spanish’s royal brown locks were styled in a sleek bob which revealed her statement earrings.
Her husband King Felipe VI looked smart in a navy blue suit, crisp white shirt and blue tie.
The pair seemed in high spirits as they made their way to the event, which honours one journalist a year for their outstanding work

Letizia, a former journalist herself, looked in her element at the event, which takes place annually.
Each year one journalist is honoured by the Association of Europen Journalists.
Letizia’s parents – Jesús José Ortiz Álvarez and Ana Togores – were both journalists, and she enjoyed a long career in TV and newspaper reporting before marrying Felipe in 2004.
She worked for the Asturian La Nueva Espana before moving on the ABC, a popular national newspaper.
She then worked for the EFE news agency, a Mexican local paper Siglo 21, the Spanish version of Bloomberg, before moving to CNN+.
When she met her husband-to-be, Letizia was working for the popular TV channel 24Horas as both a breaking news reporter and anchor for their popular Telediaro 2 evening news bulletin.
She met Felipe VI at a dinner party in 2002, and the pair enjoyed an instant connection, leading to their royal wedding in May 2004.
