Kelly Bensimon is a bride-to-be!
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum got engaged to financier Scott Litner over Fourth of July weekend, Page Six can confirm.
“Kelly is happily engaged and looking forward to this new beginning,” the Bravolebrity’s rep tells us. “Scott proposed over the 4th of July weekend while they were visiting Kelly’s childhood vacation spot of Lake Geneva, Wis.”
The 55-year-old told E! News on Monday that she “never thought that [she] could be so happy at this stage in [her] life.”
She continued, “This is truly a new beginning. We have a romance that people write novels about.”
During a boat ride, Litner got down on one knee to present Bensimon with a custom emerald-cut, five-carat diamond ring from Material Goods, which she debuted Sunday via Instagram Stories.
The reality star and Litner have kept their romance under wraps during their one year of dating — but Bensimon did gush about their sex life last month.
The “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy” star told the Daily Mail in June that she lost 10 pounds before the St. Barts trip by having “lots of sex” with her partner.

“That’s cardio,” Bensimon explained of her drop from 145 to 135 pounds.
While the former model did not disclose Litner’s identity at the time, she called her mystery man “very smart” and “very, very talented in sports.”
She gushed, “I feel really blessed to know him, and I’m really excited to see where it goes with him.”
Bensimon was previously married to photographer Giles Bensimon from 1997 to 2007, with whom she shares daughters Sea, 25, and Teddy, 23.
Litner, for his part, has been married twice before and also has children of his own, according to Kelly’s rep.
