Rochelle Humes uses this £49 facial sculpting tool to contour her jawline and define her cheeks

When it comes to creating defined features, many of us will automatically reach for our contour kit or potentially even consider getting filler to help sculpt our faces.

But what if we told you that by adding just one extra step to your usual skincare routine, you could create more defined cheekbones and a sharper jawline, all without having to splash out on expensive aesthetic treatments?

It might sound too good to be true, but that’s exactly what you can get if you invest in one handy little tool that’s so good Rochelle Humes has been spotted using it as part of her self-care routine.

In a recent Instagram story, Rochelle was chatting to her followers as she got ready to head to Australia to wait for husband Marvin to finish I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, the This Morning presenter was spotted using the Nanshy Face Roller Massager & Facial Sculptor, £49.95 here, on her face as she talked.

The metal facial tool is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and helps to rejuvenate your skin by stimulating blood flow to the area and encouraging cell turnover time, which leaves your skin looking more youthful.

It’s also one of the go-to tools for celebs and beauty fanatics for helping de-puff your skin and encourage lymphatic drainage, which leads to more defined, contoured features without the need for filler or makeup.

To use the Nanshy Face Roller Massager & Facial Sculptor, £49.95 here, it’s best to apply some sort of oil-based skincare first to help the tool glide over your skin rather than dragging it.

To start, hold the roller with the balls facing downwards and pull it upwards starting at your neck and moving upwards towards the centre of your throat. Next, roll it along your jawline towards your ear in both directions using gentle pressure to encourage fluid to move along it and reduce swelling or puffiness.

Then take the massager and roll from the bottom of your cheekbone up towards your temple, again applying just a gentle pressure – it’s not meant to hurt! Finally, place the roller just above your brows and roll outwards and upwards across your forehead towards your hair line to help relieve any tension and reduce frown lines

You can also get similar results using a gua sha like the stainless steel Rena Chris Gua Sha Facial Tool, £7.99 here (was £9.99), which has different angles shaped into it to fit various angles of your face and help encourage lymphatic drainage for more defined, fuller looking skin.
