Roddy Ricch Drops $5.6 Million On A Beverly Hills Mansion

Roddy Rich made $20 million last year after his song The Box became the decades first massive hit, and now the 23-year-old rapper is using the fruits of his labor to purchase a $5.6 million mansion in star-studded Beverly Hills.

The Compton native, whose sophomore album livelifefast arrives this month, has wisely invested some of his wealth back into California’s red-hot real estate market.

According to Dirt, the rapper picked up a compound tucked away in the mountains above Beverly Hills where it sits on nearly one acre. Towering trees and hedges offer plenty of privacy on the Mulholland Drive estate which neighbors the main residence of the late Eddie Van Halen.

The compound sits at the end of a long, gated driveway that features parking for up to 10 cars. The lot features a 3,456 square foot contemporary style main residence that was built in 1960 but has since been renovated and expanded. Today the lavish pad features 4 bedrooms, 5 spa-like bathrooms.

A recently renovated kitchen features stone countertops with custom cabinetry and designer stainless appliances.

The home is decorated in muted tones of grey and white and has glass accordion doors in all of the rooms that open up to his new patio areas. Ricch can also enjoy a media room with blackout shades, and hardwood floors throughout the entire structure.

Additionally, there is a fully-detached guesthouse with a bathroom and kitchen that could be converted into a gym or music studio. An outdoor area also includes a large pool and terraced gardens with a basketball court and grassy lawns.

The Nipsey Hussle’s protégé was able to purchase the house after his hit single The Box topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 11 weeks in 2020. The rapper went on to win his first Grammy, and his debut album, Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial, spent four weeks at the top of the charts. The success of his debut album made helped to make the rapper wealthy, “I’ve made more this year than I have ever made in life–at home,” he told Forbes.
