WEDNESDAY
MacGyver
This action-packed new series, which is a reboot of a 1980s drama by the same name, follows an operative from a secret US government organisation as he uses his extraordinary talent for problem-solving to save lives.
It sounds a bit like an American Sherlock Holmes, but this opening episode sees main man MacGyver attempt to recover a missing bio-weapon that has the ability to kill thousands of people with a single drop.
Let’s hope he succeeds or it’ll be a very short series.
Sky1, 8pm
