FANS of B&M know that there are plenty of bargains to be had – but are some more worth it than others?
The chain is known for its massive discounts and great deals, and there's a knack to picking up the best bits.
Some shoppers can spend hours in B&M – it's got aisles and aisles of food, homeware, bathroom bits, and more.
If you're a dab hand at DIY you might even head to the store for a set of new tools, but not everything is worth loading into your basket.
It's always worth having a shop around, as other retailers might have even cheaper deals on offer.
And remember the 10p bargains that pop up time and again on the handy scanner app can all add up and you could go over budget.

Here's six things you should always buy at B&M though.
Just keep in mind that some products should stay firmly on the shelf too.

1. Food
When it comes to picking up your groceries, you don't have to stay loyal to the supermarket.

You can stock up on pretty much any cupboard essential at B&M – from crisps and chocolate to cereal and fizzy drinks.
There's a whole department in each store dedicated just to food, so it could be a much cheaper way to do your weekly shop.
Of course you won't find everything that you might normally in the supermarket, but you can get a lot.
You can get tinned food, pasta, and baking ingredients, and there's pet food on the shelves too.
There's even a vegan and "free from" section catering to specific dietary requirements as well.
Making an effort to stock up once a month on these could mean you save yourself a fiver a month on your food bill.
2. Bulk Buys
While you're stocking up the kitchen cupboards, you might as well take advantage of the mass of multibuys the store often sells.
You can get big bags of crisps or sweets, or even the giant condiment bottles that you normally only see in restaurants or food vans.
You can get a Cadbury chocolate treat pack for example, including 14 mini goodies, for just £1.50 – the same thing costs £2.75 at Morrisons making it £1 more.
Meanwhile you can get a whopping 500ml of mayo for just £1 from the unique brands at B&M, while Heinz is £2 to buy, or another £1 more, for roughly the same volume.
If you've got a big family, or need to fill the kids lunch boxes through the week, this can be a cheap way to do it, rather than having to keep popping back to the shops for a top up.
That said, don’t buy multiple items just because they're discounted that way – only buy what you need.
3. Bedding
Another aisle that seems to go on for miles is the one solely dedicated to bedding.
The designs are similar to what you would expect to find at a department store such as John Lewis – but on much more of a manageable budget.
Duvet covers and bedding set prices start from just £5 at B&M where you can expert to fork out at least double, as prices start from around £10 at the posh store.
And it's not just the decorative bits, as you can get pillows, duvets and mattress protectors, and even the beds themselves at the store – though that's another perk entirely.
4. Garden gear
The bargains aren't just inside the stores either.
Many of the bigger stores have garden centres too, 221 in total, which means you can pick a discount shed, or other goods for outside.
You can also buy all your plants as well as pots, which can be typically pricey at the local garden centre.
B&M even has a whole site dedicated to the garden gear – and it's the only opportunity you have to get items delivered from the bargains store.
B&M doesn't do home deliveries for products otherwise – so purchasing a shed, fence, panels, or even a flower bed is the first chance many shoppers get to have items dropped off at the door.
5. Garden furniture
You can get all the accessories you need for your garden this summer at the bargains store too – and plenty are even discounted right now.
B&M's garden bench which sits two has been reduced to as little as £2 in some stores.
The bench was originally £100 so shoppers can save £98.
Shoppers have been rushing to buy the item and at that huge discount who can blame them.
Do be aware though that prices and stock can differ from store to store so make sure to phone ahead to avoid disappointment.
6. Home furniture
Just think, anything you could get at Aldi from its Specialbuy range, you can likely find at B&M – and you might be able to get it cheaper too.
The store stocks everything from chairs, to desks, to drinks trolleys.
And you can even buy carpets, curtain rails and more.
But unlike Aldi's Specialbuys which are quickly snapped up from the shelves and only pop up once in a blue moon anyway, B&M's bargains are often readily available on the shop floor.
What to give a miss
If you buy anything from B&M you know it's going to be cheap and cheerful, so keep this in mind and you won't be disappointed in your purchase.
But that being said, there are a few things to strike off the shopping list, otherwise you could be wasting your money.
One of those is seasonal items – but only when they're really popular.
By all means stock up on all the Christmas goodies and Easter, or Valentines decs that B&M has to offer, but there's a trick to getting those bits a whole lot cheaper, so don't jump at the chance.
Have a little patience and you'll be able to bag more bargains.
Last year, one shopper managed to sort all their Christmas decs 12 months early with a £22 B&M haul that should have cost £252 – simply because they bought out of season.
You should probably give booze a miss when you're shopping at B&M too.

The store often only stocks a very limited range and what it does have is shoved on a shelf right at the end of the shop, so you might feel more panicked to make a purchase right when you're at the tills.
