Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 56, joined the Royal Family in 1999 when she married Prince Edward, also 56, Queen Elizabeth’s youngest son. She is also the sister-in-law of Princess Anne, 70, the only daughter of the monarch.
The couple will also attend events on their own as they have separate interests.
The Countess is patron to more than 70 charities and organisations and has appeared virtually though the pandemic on several occasions.
This is similar to Princess Anne who is also patron to several organisations like Riders for Health and Carers Trust.
Both royals will also attend events on behalf of the monarch.
Despite their age difference, body language expert Judi James explained that they share several similarities.
The expert explained: “There are several personality traits that could easily bind these two women, who share a sense of energy when it comes to their royal duties and an uncomplaining attitude bordering on the stoic.”
Both Sophie and Anne have continued to work throughout the pandemic too, turning to virtual calls to speak to various different charities and organisations.
Judi added: “Neither are welded to fashionable clothing and both look at their happiest in cord jeans and jumpers, relaxing with their children (and grandchildren in Anne’s case).”

Sophie and her family were last seen as a four last year when they attended the Southsea beach clean with their two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James Viscount Severn.
The Countess can be seen picking up litter while wearing jeans and a long-sleeve top.
Although rare for Princess Anne, the royal can also be seen wearing more casual clothing from time to time, including gilets and checked skirts.
Casual clothing is quite rare for Royal Family members although in recent years has become more popular, with the likes of Kate and William also opting for jeans and sweatshirts.
As well as these similar traits, previous events attended by the royals show them both wearing hats.
However Judi shared that the sister-in-laws also have their differences.
Attending Royal Ascot back in 2019, both of the ladies sat next to one another for a carriage ride.
The body language expert explained: “It might be a coincidence that Sophie has chosen to wear hats for both these carriage rides that are brimmed and then tilted to keep her face hidden from her sister-in-law.
“Sophie’s upright body language appears to become more girlish and keen to please with Anne, who herself appears to settle back into her seat to stare at the crowds.
“While Sophie wears a tooth-baring, polite royal smile Anne merely raises her brows and keeps her lips closed.”
What is Sophie and Edwards relationship like?
Judi explained: “Edward and Sophie are much more comfortable looking close now and often pose like the loving couple they didn’t appear to be initially.
“Sophie seems to have given her husband the trick of relaxing and showing happiness and joy in public.”
