Glen (Richard Huggett) isn’t having much luck of late in Neighbours, what with his secret about being Kiri’s (Gemma Bird Matheson) being outed, and now he looks set to lose his life in an unfortunate accident.
Ever since everything kicked off with Glen and Kiri, Leo (Tim Kano) has been finding things at the vineyard awkward. Glen takes accountability for this and wants to right that wrong. To try and re-establish the balance he takes on as much work as he can to prove his dedication to making things better. But when he pushes himself too far, disaster strikes.
Glen is involved in a very serious accident, but what’s worse, he’s all alone. Fading fast, things look dire for poor Glen.
He can thank his lucky stars then that Leo stumbles across him under one of the large vats. He’s in a bad way, but Leo manages to get him to hospital before death takes hold. Time is precious though, and the wait for emergency treatment may leave him with permanent damage.
He is in crippling pain and the doctors offer him opioid for relief, but after the struggles he’s faced in his past, he turns them down for fear of becoming addicted. He pushes through, but with his pain levels reaching a 10/10, how long will he be able to go without proper intervention?
Scenes air from Monday May 23 on Channel 5.
