Whiskey lovers can bag a seriously good deal at Tesco this weekend.
From today until August 19, supermarket customers can pick up a 70cl bottle of the Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve Malt Whisky for £22.
The tipple, which was originally £32.50, is an award-winning single malt scotch whisky.
It captures the distinct, smooth, fruity tasty that its founder first envisioned.
Tesco suggests enjoying the drink straight up or with a drop of water to open the intense flavours.
When serving with ice, large cubes are recommended to allow slow dilution releasing the creamy, sweet characters.
The whiskey, which has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 40%, originates from Scotland.
Sold with its signature blue gift box, this bottle makes the perfect birthday gift.
In other Tesco news, the supermarket unveiled its Christmas menu that includes chorizo in blankets and battered sprouts.
Earlier this week, the store gave customers a sneaky peek at the festive treats they’ll be launching this year.
Tasty snacks including battered Brussels sprouts bites and chorizo pigs in blankets, will be available in store.
Meanwhile, the passion fruit cake sleigh and Christmas trees chocolate pots are bound to be popular with customers.
With any Tesco purchase, customers can pick up points on their Clubcard loyalty cards.
And if you fail to do so, don’t worry as there’s a way to reclaim lost points.
Here’s how to reclaim lost Tesco Clubcard points:
1. Log in: Make sure you’re logged into the Tesco Clubcard website and check for unspent vouchers
2. Register: To log in you’ll need a Tesco account, so make sure you’re registered first
3. Check for unused vouchers: You will see a tab saying “my vouchers” and this will list the ones you have to spend
4. Use the codes online or print them: You can print the vouchers to use them in store or use the code listed and spent them online
