Grabbing attention on social media often requires planning and creativity, but sometimes the desire to stand out leads people to embellishments and even outright lies.
Nina Journalist has rounded up some of the funniest examples of people from around the world whose attempts at lying on social media were quickly uncovered by eagle-eyed users.
