  • Mother-of-four maintains her ageless appearance with microneedling and Hifu
  • She applies extra virgin olive oil to the ends of her hair and skin each night

Netta Hubball lives in Wolverhampton with her husband Rob. T hey have four children, Robbie, 34, Richie, 32, Jamie, 28, and Hayley, 24, with whom she co-founded L ’abu Skin, a vegan skincare range (labuskin.com).

MOTHER-DAUGHTER FIRM

Last year, I set up L’abu with my daughter Hayley, inspired by our Italian heritage and my obsession with organic skincare. She introduces me to new technology and ideas, which keeps me young. I don’t see age as a barrier.

NATURAL TWEAKMENTS

I’ve never had Botox or fillers. I get microneedling every three months (£150, theluminaireclinic.co.uk), where tiny holes are made in the skin to kick-start collagen production and reduce the appearance of fine lines. I’ve also had two Hifu [high-intensity focused ultrasound] treatments (£800), which lifts and tightens the skin. The results last up to nine months.

MIDLIFE HORSE RIDING

I see a personal trainer twice a week: we do a mix of weight training and dance routines. I also have a gym at home for workouts. This year, I’ve also taken up horse riding. It’s important to find new interests and push your comfort zone as you get older.

OLIVE OIL ON THE GO

My 84-year-old mum is Italian, so we used to visit my grandad’s vineyards in Italy every summer as a child. She put extra virgin olive oil into the ends of my hair, to keep it soft and would apply it to her skin at night. I’ve been doing the same for years, as it’s full of vitamin E, anti-oxidants and omega 3. Every other day, I scrub my face to take away the dead skin cells, to allow the ingredients to sink into my skin.

FEEL-GOOD FASHION

I love fashion, I think it keeps you youthful and I love to add an unusual twist to things. Zara and Topshop are two of my favourite shops. I am inspired to power-dress more by my mum, who is often dressed up in the full regalia. I think it can boost your mood, if you still make an effort, even when you’re not going out as much.
