SHOPPERS will want to make a note of these dates as thousands of retailers prepare to close for three days this Christmas.
Most shops and supermarkets will be closed for certain days in order to give staff time to celebrate over Christmas.
Almost all stores across the UK are shut on Christmas Day, but many will also remain closed on Boxing Day.
When the New Year hits and shops will likely change their hours again, and some will even shut for the day.
This means customers face up to three days of closures over the festive period.
Shoppers will need to plan their shopping trips carefully from Boxing Day to New Year's Day.
