A mum-of-four says two of her children were “ugly babies” – and insisted there's nothing wrong with being ruthlessly honest about it.
Carla Bellucci, 42, spoke out after Katie Price, 45, said her own daughter Princess was “so ugly” as a tot.
The controversial remarks sparked plenty of debate online – but Carla believes the reality is that some babies look like “little aliens with huge heads”.

And she believes many mums will relate to Katie’s brash words on GK Barry’s Saving Grace podcast – but will be too scared to admit it.
Speaking to Daily Star, she said: “I watched the podcast and the minute she made the comment I was like ‘oh my days yes, yes yes’.
“I totally understand where she is coming from. There was no harm meant and it is the truth that babies often come out totally not what you were expecting, it doesn’t stop you loving them.”
Drawing from her own experiences, she added: “Two of my children were uglier babies whereas Blu (her youngest) is a beautiful baby and I don’t think that’s wrong to say the truth.
“I’m more than happy to admit Tanisha was not the cutest baby, in fact she was an ugly baby but now she is sooo beautiful.”
Katie shares Princess, 16, and Junior, 18, with ex-husband Peter Andre.
And her teenage girl was in the studio when former glamour model Katie joked about how she used to look.
Glancing towards her daughter, she said: “You were ugly, weren’t you?”
She added: “I don’t care what anyone says. It’s not being cruel. I know if my babies are ugly or not. She’s so not ugly but babies are little old men…”
Carla’s daughter meanwhile, Tanisha, was recently hit on by a Premier League footballer who made her feel like a “pizza order”.
And the 18-year-old model apparently “totally agrees” with her mum’s not so flattering assessment.
“We had a picture out the other day and we were complimenting Blu on how beautiful she was,” Carls said.
“I said she (Tanisha) was cute as a baby as well and she said ‘stop lying mum I was horrific as a baby’ and then I laughed and said ‘yes you wasn’t the cutest baby but you got cuter’.
“She is like the little duckling that has turned into a beautiful swan, she is stunning now.”
Despite labelling her as unsightly at one time, she said she loved all her children unconditionally from the beginning.
But she said some mothers will be too proud to be transparent to others about their little ones.
Carla concluded: “I hate these pure lies. It’s like the adult world, not everyone is good looking, not that it matters any less, you don’t love them any differently but I think mums know if their kids are cute.
“When I go to the local park you can see some babies are like wrinkled old people and they are not cute, they look like little aliens and lots have huge heads.
“I think mums like to put on this perfect mum act to say ‘oh look my baby is beautiful’.
“All four of my children are now absolutely gorgeous and I wouldn’t change a thing about them. But I’m not going to sit and say there were all beautiful babies.
“They went through some dodgy phases from start to finish. As humans we are changing every day like it or not.
“I think Katie is just like me, brutally honest, and for that we pay the price.”
