Victoria Beckham shares very rare glimpse inside £31m London home she shares with David

Victoria Beckhamgranted fans a very rare glimpse inside her £31 million London home, posting a clip of David singing alone to Christmas tuneswhile enjoying a coffee.

The 48-year-old Spice Girl posted the video of her husband sitting at their wooden kitchen island, captioning the video: “@davidbeckham giving us his best @mariahCarey.”

David Beckham, who has been under fire in recent months over a rumoured £10 million Qatar agreement, seems to be getting in the festive spirit. The former England player had just returned from the World Cup, missing England’s match against Wales in order to attend Victoria’s Christmas party.

In 2013, David and Victoria paid £31.5 million for their six-bedroom, Grade II-listed townhouse that can be seen in the background of the clip, located in London's renowned Holland Park. The couple immediately began renovating the detached, stucco-front property after returning to England from LA where David was playing for the Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy.

As the property is listed, the couple had to submit a whopping 50 planning applications in order to obtain approval to remodel the home and overall have spent an estimated £8 million in improvements to the property. During the process they hired the help of interior designers Kelly Hoppen and Rose Uniacke, who is known as The Queen of Serene.

The Beckhams' mid 19th century home took around three years to finish, with the family eventually moving in over the summer of 2016. The pair turned the seventh bedroom into a dressing room and beauty room for Victoria and David, with the stylish pair requiring extra space to house their many clothes.

The house's façade is typical for the neighbourhood and has a wrought-iron canopy over the entryway and black and white tiles leading up to the front door. The family maintained the early Victorian style of the property, featuring wall-mounted lighting, antique mirrors, and chandeliers on the landing in the hallway. The extravagant home also has a gym, study and wine cellar downstairs, with a small garden out back.

The couple have recently put on a united frontamidst backlash against David’s role as one of the biggest name ambassadors of the World Cup hosted in Qatar, despite numerous concerns about the country’s criminalisation of homosexuality and its human rights violations.

SingerWill Youngwas amongst those criticising David over his ties to Qatar, taking to Instagram to call him out: “"Here is what irks me the most – not a WHISPER from yourself David to show solidarity, not a WHISPER from yourself to show support for the practical massacre of migrant workers, not a WHISPER David to help LGBTQIA+ communities living under constant danger."

Bake-Off winner and Strictly Come Dancing runner upJohn Whaite has also been critical of the footballer, saying: “I think it’s disgusting…cheapening himself. Millions, if not billions of eyes are on him, and he’s making the wrong step right now."
