Wetherspoon May Bank Holiday 2021 opening times: What time are pubs open today?

WITH pubs now open outside, punters will need to know when Wetherspoons is open this Bank Holiday weekend.

To avoid missing out on getting that pub grub and pints, you will need to check the opening times with your local Wetherspoons.

When does Wetherspoons open on May Bank Holiday?

Wetherspoons is currently only serving outdoors, in line with government guidance.

It reopened 400 pubs with outside areas in England and Wales on April 12.

Last week, it reopened 44 more pubs and extended opening hours.

On Sunday pubs will remain open until 11pm.

Monday will be its usual hours – 9am to 10pm.

Check your local pub to see their opening times as Wetherspoons are not taking bookings.

When is May Bank Holiday this year?

Bank Holiday falls earlier this year on Monday, May 3.

Last year it was May 8 and we were in our first national lockdown.

Every pub in England will still have to stick to current regulations, there will be no ordering from the bar and you must wear face masks when not sat at a table.

You have to scan in with NHS test and trace app, and seat six to a table.

Restrictions will be reviewed May 17, with the possibility of pubs and restaurants serving indoors.

Wetherspoons opened up almost 400 pubs in England and Wales on April 12, with outdoor seating.

Sunday's weather forecast is looking sunny so fingers crossed we can celebrate Bank Holiday in true Brit style – with some more rules than usual.
