While some just go for standard acrylics, others take their nail designs to another level.
A woman uploaded a snap of her nails on a piercing group which was later shared on another shaming group on Facebook.
In the photo, it shows the anonymous woman had pimped up her long grey nails with black hooped piercings.
Then another female found the photo and posted it in the That’s It, I’m Nail Shaming group online.
The post read: “Found in my piercing group. This is blowing up a little bit and I was not prepared for it lol.”
While some people thought the design looked cool, others weren’t so sure about it.

One said: “These make me uncomfortable.”
Another commented: “Hahah this is ridiculous.”
A third joked: “Quickly looking at the 1st pic, I thought they were ANTS… seriously.”
And a fourth slammed: “How are you supposed to do LITERALLY ANYTHING with these monstrosities.”

But other members of the same shaming group seemed to like the design.
One praised: “I actually like them, but they are probably unpractical.”
Another added: “I love them but they would get caught on EVERYTHING!!!!”

Members of the You Said Yes But Your Finger Said No group were slating the woman for her poor hygiene.
A Facebook member said: “OMG clean your nails. So many germs. I’m gagging.”
Another said: “So… She doesn’t like her fingers?”
And a third commented: “Why don’t people feel ashamed of their dirty nails?”
