A young woman who had just £80 to her name has shown the importance of hard work, faith and determination.
Teri Ellington had to model her watch designs herself due to her stringent budget meaning a professional was out of the question.
But now the 23-year-old stars on a billboard at Newcastle Airport, reports Teesside Live.
Less than two years after establishing her jewellery brand Ellington Timepiece, her projected turnover for sales of her watches and jewellery next year is £320,000.
After speaking openly about her battles with anxiety and agoraphobia, her range of inspirational bracelets bearing "messages of hope" including "You are Loved" and "Never Give Up" has sold out.
Teri says she wants to show others "no matter where you come from, or what's happened, you can achieve your dreams."
A post showing the 23-year-old, from Ingleby Barwick , posing with the airport billboard has reached more than 300,000 people.
Teri said: "When I first started 21 months ago, I had £80 to my name, faith and determination.
"I started Ellington Timepiece with no prior experience owning a business, designing, working with factories or any of the skills I have learned.
"I have worked hard, gone without money, slept on the sofa for six months, sold my car, sold my belongings, been mentally and physically exhausted.
"I've been in and out of hospital, cried, had sleepless nights, gone door knocking with my watches, openly spoke about my mental health journey and made a lot of sacrifices.
"But because of all of that, I have made a profit, created a fashion brand, been in magazines and newspapers, receive countless messages and comments from people telling me I've given them hope openly talking about mental health.
"I have worked with factories on the other side of the world, designed lines, sold items on an average of £100 without spending thousands on marketing."
Teri has been inundated with so many messages she says she is "struggling to get through them all".
"I've received over 1000 messages, comments, friends requests, connections sent to me.
"I'm not done yet and there's more amazing things to come."
