Alice Evans has claimed Ioan Gruffudd is "gaslighting" her and "deleted" a post from her social media account following their split.
The star has accused her husband of "mental torture" and says she is going through an "incredibly difficult time" on her Twitter account today.
Yesterday Alice posted a post on her Instagram saying that she and Ioan had split after 13 years of marriage.
Hours later the post vanished and now the star is claiming her husband removed it from her page.
In the statement, the pair said they were committed to putting their two daughters which they share together first.
Alice tweeted to her 27.8K Twitter followers in the since deleted tweets: "Hi there. I didn't delete the tweet from a few hours ago about him leaving. He did. From my account…
"And hell yes when I am being gaslit and mentally tortured then hell yes I will wash my linen in public."
Again, not long later the tweet was deleted but not before a troll responded attacking the star for speaking on her claims.
The troll wrote: "Seems like a weird thing to be posting on Twitter."

Alice tweeted back: "Why? I have lost my mind."
Another follower rushed to Alice's aid, they wrote: "I did the same when this happened to me. I think it’s how one acknowledges there’s no returning to what existed before.
"Accepting it by stating it publicly helps you to recognise the impossibility [of] reconciliation."
The actress replied: "This is exactly why. And thank you. Six months of harassment: yes/no/maybe. I cannot live like this anymore."
In the original post on her Instagram account, Alice wrote: "Sad news.
"My beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years, Ioan Gruffudd, has announced he is to leave his family, starting next week.
"Me and our young daughters girls are very confused and sad.
"We haven’t been given a reason except that he ‘no longer loves me.’ I’m so sorry."
