This Morning presenter Alison Hammond is turning her back on dating apps and internet romance sites after deciding "dating in lockdown is not my thing".
The ex-Big Brother presenter has revealed that she did get an online boyfriend but has now decided the dating app world is not for her.
"I've been there and done it," the 46-year-old television personality told The Sun.
Like many people, Alison has turned to online dating during lockdown with meeting people in person becoming more difficult.
Dates over video calls or walks in the park have become increasingly popular with potential love birds having to navigate Covid regulations
"Right now, being single is the worst but dating in lockdown is not my thing," added Alison.
Asked if she had used online dating she said: "I’ve been there and done it. I’ve had a boyfriend from a dating app and I’m really not into them any more.
"Especially during these times, you can’t even meet up with someone and I don’t just want to be doing loads of messages.
"I’d rather meet someone naturally."
Last year Alison appeared on Celebs Go Dating and ended up dating audio technician Ben Kusi who she declared she could see a future with.
Alison has a teenage son called Aiden from a previous marriage to Manchester cab driver Noureddine
Alison had a taste of Online dating a few years ago when she got together with single dad Jamie Savage, culminating in the couple becoming engaged.

Alison first broke on to the nation's television screens in 2002 in Channel 4's Big Brother.
Despite only finishing 11th in the series Alison was able to carve out an extremely successful television career for herself.
As well as presenting on This Morning since 2003 she has also appeared Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Master Chef.
The presenter will next appear on the box as a judge on new BBC singing show I Can See Your Voice.
