Apprentice’s Ryan-Mark ‘recovering’ after dropping 1kg caviar jar on his big toe

Apprentice star Ryan-Mark Parsons suffered the most on-brand accident since records began – he dropped a 1kg jar of caviar on his big toe which resulted in a trip to A&E.

The public speaker, who is "all about luxury", needed an operation following the mishap and had to have two parts of his toenail removed.

With his foot currently in a bandage and his beloved Royal Oscietra Cavia worth £1,000 now in the bin, the 19-year-old opened up about the incident to Daily Star Online.

In an exclusive interview, he explained he's "recovering well".

"The toe is recovering.

"It's been crazy – the story just went all over."

Discussing his ailment, he said: 'It's getting there. I have to change my bandage every day."

"I have to bathe it in salt water to try and relieve it.

It's quite a funny injury, he added.

"Very on-brand, but actually it was very painful at the time. Very painful.

"It's getting there – I'm nearly recovered."

A source close to Ryan-Mark told The Mirror Online: "It was only a little jar but it was made of thick glass and fell from a real height. He literally couldn’t walk and blood was everywhere.

"Ryan-Mark was devastated, not because he thought he had broken his foot, but because it was a kilo of Royal Oscietra Caviar, which costs over £1,000 a jar."
